For 1996-1998 Vehicles:
Check the marked area on your current accumulator body. Refer to the pictures provided. If it has a machined slot, you need the 90-95 E40D version of the Tiger Transmission valve body. This is crucial if your transmission has been replaced with a different unit. Ensure the accumulator body matches the rest of your transmission components. Do not use a different accumulator body if the marked area does not correspond. Please contact us for any questions.
For 1996-2003 Vehicles:
If the marked area on your accumulator body does not feature a machined slot, then the Tiger Transmission valve body is the correct part for your vehicle. However, if the marked pad has two drilled holes, it indicates that your transmission has a shift kit with a separator plate above the accumulator body. This plate must be removed before installing the Tiger Transmission valve body. Consult the installation instructions included with the valve body for more details.
